Does Roon run on High Sierra Macs without any limitations?

Any experiences so far?

I run Roon on Mac 5K with 32GB of RAM on High Sierra. Roon Core runs smoothly with no hiccups from day 1. Once or twice, when I’ve quit Roon on the iPad and then turned the amp off, I notice that Roon core has quit unexpectedly on the Mac. Not a problem as this the end of the session anyway.

Here's what someone highly tech on macs had to say ...

Mac OS High Sierra: Do Not Upgrade

Hi Everyone. As you might imagine, as soon as MacOS High Sierra was out, yours truly was testing for bugs, new features, etc. and ready to bring you all the latest information. And now that I've had some time to play with it, I have to be honest: The features are very...very...light (to the point where our "new features" video is only 7 minutes long and that includes features that, frankly don't even feel worthy of a video). I am going to strongly recommend that everyone hold off upgrading at this time

Here's the thing...
Anytime you upgrade your Mac, you have to consider the risks. In this case, I don't feel the benefits come close to outweighing the risks.

Seconding audio_engr, it's not worth your time, wait for 10.13.1. I'm seeing some software bugs on my menu bar, Spotify and Opera.

Anybody else running High Sierra and not having any problems with Roon? I can honestly say that I’ve not seen one bug, let alone several since upgrading to HS.
I don’t think that the “highly tech” advice not to upgrade because there aren’t enough toys to play with washes. IMHO.

I am running High Sierra on two machines, one a work machine, one a home machine. I have had no issues on either.

This includes Roon, Skype, Office, Zoom, Slack, you name it.

p.s. I have had issues with prior major OS upgrades from Apple, mostly related to business applications. Not so with this one.

Me neither. No problems at all with Roon on High Sierra until now.
