News from Devialet? Countdown on website

No need to compare with BT boxes or Sonos. It‘s another league and people hear it. Now its only a question if they will be able to make them work in stereo. Aiplay2 should be able to and of course RAAT as well. We need to wait and see. Great for us Phantom users that Phantoms are not dead. After one year of no SW or FW updates, the sparce communication of Devialet only around the Expert system I do not see this as waste of time and BS. Great for all Devialet customers, definitely more innovation than e.g. Apple presented in their last product presentation. Devialet seems to be alive.  Maybe best would be when they further would concentrate on HW and contract Roon for the SW.

+1

Couldn't agree more. Phantom has not been forgotten by Devialet. And the Reactor has some nice connections: Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, Airplay, UPnP, optical and analogue inputs. Statistics read very good, the system still looks from out of space, a new app and - hopefully sooner than later - wireless connection between two Reactors for stereo mode (big pro compared to the KEF LS50 which needs a connection between speakers).

Who knows whether things from the Reactor development will find its way to the original Phantom. Think of a new app, for example.

So kudos to them. I'll have a listen to it and maybe swap it with my Dynaudio Music... we'll see.

First the great CI board (I'm so enjoying this upgrade...  you can't imagine) and new the possibility to have something out of space in my reading room... I like it!
