Phantoms and Sonos

The Sonos Amp has no pre-out, so the Connect is needed. You may need a Connect for each Phantom, unless you can send the signal to one Phantom and have it link to the other. I don't know much about Phantoms so they may do that already.

I will say that that the stock Connect is adequate, but if you are getting Phantom Golds, then I would move to a W4S modified Sonos: Connect. And the Nordost purple flare power cord. Very significant improvement and well beyond a Bluesound Node 2, thought that is better than a stock Connect.

My impression is that the Phantom Gold has a much better tweeter than the other models, and the modified Sonos will definitely be a worthwhile expenditure. I'd say, almost required, having used both. (but not with Phantoms).
