@David A - The "relatively quiet" quote was actually a direct quote from dB(A)'s very own Wikipedia page, see link below.  Obviously I had used it a little out of context in my post, but the link shows the full reference.  (see the "deficiencies" section per the link below.)

As for my "Fletcher Munson" widget, I was thinking more of the "loudness" switch that my parents had on their old Dynatron Radiogram.  This simply boosted the bass and treble a little for very low volume listening.  So for a Devialet implementation I was thinking of something that would run the frequency response flat at "normal" listening levels, but add a touch of bass and treble boost when the volume is turned to very low levels.  Off topic here I know.

Anyway, back on topic.  David, you clearly have a superb knowledge of all things dB related, so would you care to hazard an informed guestimate of the SPL levels generated in the room in the video? Shy
