@ditdot you've got some very good advice from @struts and @streamy here.
In the link to Devialet in struts' post there is a clear feature comparison between DOS1 and DOS2. Both support Spotify Connect and Airplay (not Airplay 2) so my advice to stay with DOS1 for Spotify an Apple Music was not correct. Both versions will do this so your choice will depend more on how you prefer to play music.
