On my case both of my Gold Phantom are connected or wired to my router and my Left seem to be the master (always running warmer on standby than the right one).
Before is was running them through wifi/cpl (not connected Ethernet) and the left was always running warmer, and I was
not using any optical input.
So, it is not the input choice that choose the master speaker; in my case the Left was chosen when I chose the second Phantom to paired it in stereo.
My question are: When both Phantom are used in stereo and are wired through Ethernet does they communicate between Left and right solely on Ethernet or use CPL or WIFI too?
If my left is the master and I am using optical input to send musical information (as i do now) ; Could I use the Right
optical input of my Right Phantom to send another optical source (from Devialet App) ? For this Right optical input, does
my Right speaker will be use as a Right master and the left will be a slave? does it work that way ? could I use both optical Input (left-phantom/right-phantom)?
