The Bluesound Node might be what you're looking for. I don't have first-hand experience but a quick look at the specs suggest it should do what you asked: it has a USB type A connector to support memory sticks, and can play internet radio (bit rate presumably depends on the station). The digital (optical) output would connect directly to the Devialet.
(My natural reaction was to think of Sonos, but unfortunately it gives you no method to directly access files on a USB stick.)
