Could you say a few words about the bass traps?  This is something I'm thinking about currently.

Count me in about these traps, very interested in how good the work, what they do and where to buy.

Sorry for a late reply but here it is

The panels behind the speakers are homemade BAD-panels. The function is described at link below:

It´s a combined absorber/diffuser. The panels does an excellent jobb at mid/higher frequencies (not to effective on bass I´m afraid since they are not that thick, 5-6 cm). I had a big problem with reflections in my room before, and those panels are making quite a difference.
I´ve tried to make those as discrete as possible, and also portable. 
The build is quite easy but the holes (I think there are about 1000 holes/panel) was quite a pain to drill

Wouldn't mind the Swedish site. Looks time consuming, how long time did you spend on it and what shops in Sweden did you buy the materials?

In this thread there´s a list of the materials needed. I bought the materials at a local hardware store (Byggmax).

The build is quite easy. The most time consuming bit is the drilling of the holes. I made 4 panels so I drilled through 4 plywood panels at the same time, saving me some work. It is critical with a good drill though.

I also made a panel (with Marimekko fabric) to hang on the wall with LED-light (see attached link). It´s hard to see the effect, standing on the floor. But it really gave a nice effect hanging on the wall especially in the evenings. To bad, I haven´t got the space for it anymore.
