I suspect that there was some marketing spin put on the Silver and the 3,300W was misleading ??? If you look at the Phantom I 108 dB, it has only 1,100W, so must be worse than the Silver!
The old Phantom line (white 1500W, elevate (a later version of the white) 2000W, silver 3000W, gold 4500W) were specified by peak power like boom boxes in the 80ties. Now with the new line Devialet changed the specifications to RMS power. 500W rms for the Phantom I 103 dB (elevate equivalent) and 1100W rms for the Phantom I 108 dB (gold equivalent).
