To use Roon, you need an account at Roon (currently two weeks free trial, which i'm currently doing) and a Roon core within your network. I've installed it on my windows pc and it needs to stay on if you want to use Roon as a source.
Don't think upnp can be removed.
Why would you listen to headphones on your devialet ? That would be complete overkill and i don't think you can do that.
Tidal connect is not yet available. You need Roon to stream tidal source. Hopefully available one day.
