New to D220 pro

Hello Graziano, and welcome.

As others have said, in order to use Roon you'll need a computer in your network to run the Roon Core software.  Once you have a Core running, the Roon app should connect to the Core (you might need to select the right computer the first time you connect, but thereafter it should connect automatically).  You can then open Settings->Audio in the Roon app and should see your 220 Pro listed as a Roon-Ready device.  At that point, you should be ready to play music.

There are two different and complementary methods for EQ.  The first is by using tone controls, which boost or cut the treble and bass frequency response from defined frequencies.  The corner frequencies can be set in the Configurator, under General Settings->Balance & Tone Control.  You can use the remote control to set the boost/cut for treble and bass; just press the Tone button until you reach Bass or Treble and adjust the boost/cut using the rotary control as needed.

The second is by using the Sweet Room capability; this allows you to set up an equalisation curve to match your room characteristics.  Essentially (as I understand it) it's a parametric EQ which is configured by a text file.  If you're interested in trying Sweet Room, you can learn more about it here: https://help.devialet.com/hc/en-us/artic...Sweet-Room.  You might want to note that there have been, and may still be, some known problems in its interaction with SAM, mentioned in other threads on this forum.

As you'll have discovered, the Expert amplifiers don't have dedicated headphone outputs.  In general, they do allow you to configure a pair of RCA connectors as stereo, line-level pre-amp outputs which could be used to drive a headphone amp.  Some people have had success driving high-impedance headphones directly from these outputs, but personally I would be wary of doing that because the results will depend on the headphone characteristics

As already mentioned, it doesn't seem to be possible to "hide" unused inputs which is a slight annoyance.  (This used to be possible long ago, but changed with the introduction of the CI board in the Pro models, IIRC.)

As others have said, Tidal Connect is not supported at the moment.

I hope you enjoy your 220 Pro.  If you have any more questions, please ask -- the forum is generally pretty friendly!  Why not add a post in the Speakers section to let us know what you're using it with, and/or start a thread in Your Systems?
