You say you don't have a computer. If so, what are you running Roon on? The Roon app for the iPad isn't Roon, it's a remote for Roon. What it does is to connect to the actual Roon server software which is running on a computer or NAS drive or on some music servers , and allows  you to control what Roon does from the iPad.

You mentioned in your initial post that the app can't find your 220. That's because the app doesn't connect to your 220. The app connects to the Roon server software elsewhere on your network and it's that Roon server software that connects to your 220.

If all you have is the Roon remote app running on your iPad then you're not running Roon, you're running a remote control for software that you don't have. There's absolutely nothing you can do with the Roon remote app on the iPad if you aren't running the Roon server software elsewhere on your network.

Thank you David for your reply! I think I will give up the Roon idea anyway. I have an account for a try out period for a month, but when I signed it I thought it would work with just the app.  Anyway, I think I’m fine with just Tidal music for the moment.

Now I need to upgrade my powercord, because I know the including AQ cable is not the best one on the market, any tips there?

Try the AQ NRG Z3. I did it and i can assure you, the improvement is immediate and evolving.
