Remote "On"?

I turn mine off with the remote and to turn them on I just place my hand on the top of them. Going by what others have said, many seem to not be able to make this work. I haven't done anything to my speakers, they worked like that out of the box for me.
Light start flashing on the back and it takes ~45 sec to start after touch. |
