Initial Questions from New D200 Owner...

In one month of ownership, it may have been on for one - two hours a day on average, so within that 30- - 60 hours the high end has lost a bit of zing; a slightly metallic character that I heard on bright recordings. 'Sweetness' as you describe it seems to describe it nicely. I don't know anything about the mechanical or electrical validity of this effect, but I do personally believe the change is real.

Damon, the word "metallic" hits the nail on the head ! And it is definitely more noticeable at the high end.. I've only had the unit a short time and believe that I already detect a slight change. In any event, my unit is on more than 1-2 hours a day so I may well catch you up !! And the odd glass of wine certainly makes it sound sweeter !!
