I'm not sure the spec makes lot of sense though... Whilst it's great to have a choice of outputs, why would anyone need 240Gb of cache? and I find it disappointing that they gone for 4tb internal HDD rather than SSD? Seems a strange choice when you can buy an X100L with 6 or 12Tb...

The 100s ( i.e. X100 and N100) are the designed for USB DACs where as the 10s and 20s (i.e. W20, S10 and N10) are for more premium DACs with the conventional inputs.
You should not worry about the HDD as they are there for storage only whereas the actual playback is from the 240GB SSD
