Vincent at Totaldac has sent me his new USB Gigafilter for review. First impressions are that the filter box is considerably larger (15cm long) and the cable/cable terminations seem sturdier. The cable itself appears to be based on a Phoenix Contact Variosub USB cable.
Here's a quick pic I took earlier:
Will report back once I've had a chance to have a listen.

It's a monster! The original barely stayed in my wall mounted 200 and needed cable tie to another wire to hold it. Don't think this new one would stand much of a chance....
Makes me glad to not be using USB any more I have to say - I haven't thought/worried about cables for such a long time now.

Devialet doesn't use 5V from USB computer power lines. No need for such big filter here. Just properly done DATA pair!
