Are you using AIR to stream from your computer?

So I managed to install the 7.1.3 beta this morning. I didn't notice huge changes beside an improved spatial rendering, especially on jazz albums (Eliane Elias, Bireli Lagrene, Yuji Ohno...).

However, I experienced tonight the tac-tac-tac effect (I'm not sure if this is what you call the white noise issue). Disabling and enabling again Devialet AIR is solving the issue...

No using either ethernet or USB.

I installed 7.1.3 today. It seems to sound better in that more detail comes out of the music, and mids and highs sound somewhat slightly better. But I'm not sure about the bass... A bit less defined? It's difficult to explain...

At the same time, and I don't know if this has happened to anyone, I lost the SAM% menu I had before with 7.1!!! When I went to try to change my SAM % and see (hear) how bass reacted, I couldn't find it any more in the tone menu. Has anyone had the same experience?

Cheers!

I'm new here and just installed 7.1.3 today.  I noticed a bit more clarity in the treble and upper midrange.  Interestingly,  I was comfortable with the volume set at -10 db where previously I didn't want to go much higher than -20 db in 7.1.1.   Maybe there is less distortion that allows me to do this?  Tape hiss on older recordings was more noticeable, probably because of the higher volumes.

I did notice some shrillness in loud choral passages on the Eugen Jochum recording of Carmina Burana ripped from a CD at 16/44.1.  But I also had a new 24/96 download of the same recording and this version sounded much better..clear diction had replaced the shrillness.

I'm running a modified (Mojo Audio) Mac Mini connected to a Devialet 200 using Audirivana in integer mode one.  The speakers are Aerial Acoustic 6s with Nordost Blue Heaven speaker cable.

Had issues or just couldn't hear the difference and went back to production version?
