I have regretfully stopped using AIR ethernet completely months ago after I upgraded to OSX 10.x and 7.1.1.
It is just totally un-usable.
I have been using USB since then, running Audirvana. I feel that the sound has improved a lot with the recent dot releases and I regret AIR less and less though.
