EDIT: you say that removing and reinserting the USB cable helps. This indicates that the USB chipset needs to loose the 5V on the cable temporarily to enumerate again. The USB chipset in the 250 (XMOS) doesn't use bus power, but needs the 5V present to trigger enumeration. Devialet may need to look at the USB INIT code.

Yes, this is what the Intona support suggested. But when I contacted Devialet they didn't seem willing to look at this issue Undecided


BTW, I currently have a iFi iGalvanic 3 at home, but it doesn't seem to work with the Dev at all. 
Tried the various ifi settings, tried 3 macs (usb 2, 3, and c), and various lengths USB cables and when it works it starts dropping within a few minutes.
So I'll stick with the Intona for now ....
