Phantom disappearing from the App and re-start of the speaker needed
#4
Hi Welcome! i had so many troubles early on. frustrating for sure, network details matter. Keep it simple. Isolate it if you can. does not need to be a dedicated network just for the speakers but know your IP path. you may or may not need to learn about 5-4-3 and how devices are connected if its more than just one or two. in any case use Ethernet, don't use wireless for any part of the signal path. use wireless only for the phone / app connection, any more and its asking for trouble. I have a separate AP for the phone and it pretty much is just a remote. basically wireless is for the app to set the sources and volume if you don't use a remote, then your sources come from WIRED connected sources only. no airplay, no bt, no wif. if you can live with that its all unicorns and rainbows. if not its madness and works some of the time most of the time.
