Thinking about it for a long time as I was not able to link with my Athom Zef Max.
Stock jumpers:
I think the quality of the stock jumpers was not consistent with the Athom Zef Max speaker cable, resulting in some harshness in the high frequencies and a lack of overall balance.
With the Qed XT 400 jumpers:
I retrieve a really pleasant tonal balance, I can play loud with no discomfort.
I need to carefully listen to my reference tracks to be sure I do not loose some details.
I'm really happy with this small low cost upgrade on the 805ds.
I've often heard about the jumpers replacement but also that the B&W jumpers were of good quality... but we can always find better
