I´m in the same situation... again.
After the CI installation, it sound a bit harsh and staight from the speakers, exactly like it was when i bought it.
It´s a matter of time, i´m sure.

I dont get the burn in thing, but certainly it has a big affect on speakers. I have a 120 pro plus the Atom paired speakers and they changed enormously from the initial sound when they had been run fo a couple of weeks. I sat down and listened to them again last night after about three weeks as I have had no time and was blown away again by what the system produces. The separation and detail are amazing and make my old system sound like a slightly muddy mess! Keep the faith, its worth it!

I think the SQ has been improved or I am more used to it.

But I am convinced that the break in has influence on the SQ of the D.
