AQVox AQ-SWITCH-8
#51
This is from AQVOX homepage.

Remark regarding VAT policy for non EU countries
AQVOX pursues the policy of having the same prices worldwide. Hence the invoice amount is not being
reduced by the value added tax. Amongst other administrative reasons, this is for
compensation of high
outside-EU PayPal fees, extra work for export packing, customs declaration papers and filing
    export statistics and reports.

Ouch. That's quite a lot to pay for a customs declaration. If they're good, better buy a few before we leave the EU!

added the Aqvox switch to my system as well.
the effect is ease to notice.
at least to my ears soundstage is slightly deeper, better separation and body of instruments and voices.

really impressive peace of gear a recommendation for a trial.

Excellent! It really is good isn't it? I'm sure mine has continued to improve as it runs in.

Everything just sounds so much more natural.

it's really good indeed.
many thanks for recommendation Guillaume.
I have also other Aqvox "devices" the Phono-Pre for example which is an excellent one as well for it's price tag.
how did you discover the Aqvox switch?

I wonder what differs the Aqvox and JCAT versions besides the price?

Just had a quick look - so the jcat lan cables are almost twice the price of their modified switch.

Interesting they both chose the same (or similar) switch model to modify.

Will this make a difference when running AIR --> WiFi --> Router --> Ethernet --> Devialet or is it only when running ethernet all the way and having both the computer and Devialet connected to the switch?
