Aluminium Bass Drivers of Phantoms
#1
Hello,

How do you guys clean your phantoms, do you just use a duster?

I am worried how fragile the Aluminium bass drivers are. Are they quite rigid and can they be touched?

Silly question I know..

Yes they are rigid enough to clean, they won't "give in" with a bit of pressure, but knock them with a handle (or something) and the dent is near impossible to remove. I should know...

I have the same issue....

Is there anyway to have the dent removed? I saw someone took their speaker to a auto-dent remover and seems to have had it corrected!
Wondering if anyone has experience on a cosmetic fix?

I spoke with Devialet support, and apparently the only option is a replacement unit at $2200 - which i can't justify for a cosmetic issue.. I also can't stand looking at them anymore - it's all I stare at  Confused
