It seems there's no Devialet Expert app for Android 16.
I've contacted Devialet but haven't received a response.
I have an iPad Pro and an older iPhone 7, and they work, but I don't understand how Devialet can be so negligent as to not maintain an Android app.
Does anyone know anything about this?

I've asked Devialet about this before and again 2 months ago and got a NO on both questions::::::

I'm sorry to confirm that the new Devialet App is designed exclusively for our Phantom and Mania speakers (which run on our latest DOS 2/3 platform). It is not compatible with the Expert line of amplifiers.
Unfortunately, the legacy Devialet Remote App for Android, which you were previously using to control the volume, is no longer supported or updated due to changes in the Android operating system. I understand that this loss of convenient app control is frustrating, and I regret this change in functionality.
Your Best Control Options
While we cannot restore the old app functionality, the most reliable ways to control your volume and system remain:
- The Physical Expert Remote Control: This is the most stable and effective method to manage volume, sources, and settings.
- Roon or Other Streamers: If you are using a streaming protocol like Roon, you can continue to use the Roon app interface on your phone to control the volume directly.

Alternatively, use Claude Code or Codex to vibe code a replacement. I used Claude Code to create a python server / phone-focused web app to control my Expert 440 Pro, and it works better than the official Expert app ever did. (I'd post it here, but some of the status decoding code probably wouldn't work without a companion amp.)
