Another streamer to add interest in!?
#1
Hi,

Anyone had a chance to listen to this? http://www.lampizator.eu/Fikus/MUSIC_SERVER.html

As I am at the moment close to the manufacturer in Warszawa I will make an appointment for a listen. By the outset of specs etc it will be a contender among Melcos et al in replacing my Unitiserve.

Like most other streamers I guess! Anyway the price is heavy and as someone mentioned, without VAT added. The proof will be in the SQ.

I will lend my ears to it/Mike

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on it if you get the chance to demo.

In the "cost no object" category there is also the new Metronome Technologies Music Center 1 to look out for:

http://www.metronome-technologie.com/en/...gy.f6.html

I caught a very quick glance of it in Munich but can't say much more about it I'm afraid. It should come out in September this year. No idea on price but bound to be expensive!

It does indeed look interesting.  The funny thing is, in comparison to their CD players, which look fairly epic, the Music Center 1 looks a little cheap and dull.  (in comparison, I emphasise)
