Audirvāna integration seems like it's a work in progress
#1
So with the recent updates noticed there is a option for Audirvāna as an Online source. not sure how long thats been there.....

It seems like it wants to be more than UPNP or some special UPNP connection but it's not quite working for me.
other than just as a UPNP source.
I tried it out but not sure it worked as intended.  I dont think i get what the app is trying to get me to do.

i got it working but not by following the devialet app just by using the Windows app to play TO the phantom via UPNP.
really just seems to be a UPNP player.

Maybe it's trying to tell me there is a control point app as the Audirvāna app on the phone that should do something
I have that app installed and can connect to the PC from the app but at best the way that works is confusing and at best is confused and wrong and buggy.

probably better for support if i cared but i don't really use the streaming like this. I'm thinking it's CURRENTLY all a work in progress probably why Devialet is not listed as a partner quite yet on the audirvana site. but i suspect that's all a work in progress and this is not all tested and certified quite yet...

if nothing else:  the dialog (in the devialet app) tells you go run the Audriana app then play something with * bluetooth * ? (hun?)

Does anyone use this, or see it working differently? Is this how its intended to work? (I don't see what the android apps have to do with much of what i can do without them) i guess.

Audirvana works fine as an audio player via UPNP to the Phantoms. Better quality than Airplay on my Macbook. You have to pay a monthly subscription to Qobuz to stream with Audirvana. Or else you can play files that you bought from Qobuz or music files that you own that are on your PC or a disk. The Audirvana phone app works with the PC app so you don't have to stay in front of your PC to play files.
2 phantom Gold
2 phantom Reactor
Dione soundbar
Spotify connect
Apple music
Audirvana 3.5.44 for Mac
