Blinking white light…of death?
#1
Hi,

I have had my Dione since 2022 with little to no issues. The other day however it cut out and the light began blinking white and the device was no longer seen by the TV or in my app.

I have been talking with support and they said the best they can do is send me a replacement for…$900! That doesn’t work for me having already dropped thousands on it (especially as I haven’t done anything to the soundbar to cause any problems).

Has anyone ran into this issue before and is there some kind of workaround?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So they did not offer to send it to them and check for repair? What about your dealer?
To me most of the hardware costs are in the body and the speaker. So electronics should not be that much.
Further they could offer you replace the electronics yourself.

.... things getting worse. Starting with no software support and not taking care of any customer featue request.
.... ending up with dealing with hardware issues like that? Shortly after warranty ends....

Hmm, I've been following this forum for a while, and here's another sad experience. Hulster is right, there's no authorized service or even a service that deals with warranty and post-warranty repairs?
Sending it back to them seems pointless, as nothing is done in France; it would have to be sent to China.
I was kind of beating myself up for paying extra for a 5-year warranty, but now it seems like it might not have been such a bad idea after all.

Did you try resetting to factory settings?
