I sent my D400 away in October for upgrade- it was back in Australia 28 days later.
I was pretty impressed.
I would be less impressed as you, JamesN: hope it comes back really soon

Update.
My patience ran out and so I bought another D220 CI so I could have music for Christmas. Then last week, in the first week of Jan, I had a phone call from Devialet to say they were really sorry for the delay (checking providence of machine) and would be resetting and sending my product the next day. They asked me what I would like to say sorry for the delay and I said a posh interconnect to join it to another 220 please. They said yes. The product has shipped with UPS and is now in French customs...

So soon I should have a 440 CI... looks like I'll need a speaker upgrade to do them justice... that's lockdown's fault 😀😀
