Devialet at RMAF 2014

From http://www.stereophile.com/content/rmaf-...s-continue

"Focal was showing its more upscale Utopia range of speakers in several upstairs rooms, but in a ground floor suite it demonstrated its new Aria 926s, driven by a Devialet 400 amplifier. The latter, at $17,495, appeared to be a bit of overkill for a $3299/pair of speakers. The latter's bigger sister, the Aria 936, was just reviewed in our November 2014 issue. But enough about speakers and amps; is that fellow ogling that cool IKEA cabinet or the Devialet?"

He's probably noticed the mirror finish on the Devialet, and thinking to himself, my goodness, I appear to have a goaty beard....

What I like about this is that as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) this is the first time that a speaker manufacturer / importer uses Devialet to drive their speakers at a show. So far it has been Devialet themselves showing with different speakers.
Lifetime Roon, Mac mini, int. SSD, ext. HDD, tv as monitor, key board and track pad on bean bag as remote,Devialet 200, Od'A #097, Blue jeans speaker cable,
                                                                                                                                                                            Dynaudio C1 MkII.
                                                                                                                                                                              Jim Smith's GBS.

Last year, Waterfall Audio (french speaker manufacturer) used a Devialet 170 to drive their speakers in the french audio show in Paris !

Raidho have used Devialets in the past at shows.

Ever since SAM came out I've been wondering whether speaker manufacturers would start using Devialet to make their speakers sound 'better than they actually are' at shows.

Pretty impressive that Focal used Devialet rather than their subsidiary brand Naim.
Innuos Statement 2TB SSD with Next-Gen PSU (with Roon lifetime)
MacBook Pro (with Air)
Draytek Vigor 2860v-Plus/Devialet Original d'Atelier CI Nos. 54A&B/Magico M3 pair
Shunyata cables (digital/interconnect/loudspeaker/power)/Shunyata power units (Triton/Typhon)

 Dialog/Phantom Gold/Tree pair
Missing Link cables (power)
