[DEVIALET DIONE] Release notes - DOS 2.18.6

On June 2 2025 Devialet released a new firmware update for Devialet Dione.

This release requires Devialet app 1.23 or newer. It includes the following improvements compared to DOS 2.16.1:

-    Faster and more robust product setup.
-    Devialet Dione can now automatically power off after a set period of inactivity. This setting can be adjusted in the app.
-    The IP Control API now supports all product features.
-    Setup mode has been removed. Use Reset mode instead to perform Wi-Fi setup.
-    Other bug fixes and improvements.

Hasn’t solved the problem of not working with my new Sony Bravia tv with doing restart on tv and Dionne everytime I want to use it.

That does work for me. BUT if you have restarted the setting will be lost. Same as for LED.
But seems not to loose everything - really strange.
But to be honest - the worst thing is not detecting DD. I checked the HDMI setting - that is set to auto. 
I got already response from Devialet. But they only asked to disconnect power and Sources. Keep it off for around 5-10 min. Then first to connect power. After the eARC device and sources after. Didn't work for me.
I asked again to send me the former firmware.

Response from Devialet so far:

-    Regarding DD: It is a "cosmetic" in the app issue. I can only partially confirm. It seems in some cases it plays properly DD. (After a factory reset). Still the issue is, as for me I had issues with DD detection before i.e. for Prime Video, you will not see when it will be ok

-    Regarding lost settings: Nothing

-    Regarding rollback: Ask for more time.

So I finally still not recommend the upgrade:

-    The only real new feature "Auto Power-OFF" does not work properly, as the setting will be lost at every power-on
-      More bugs than before
