I’ve just had it confirmed from a Devialet employee that direct Ethernet connection between speakers is not a feature. If you want to use Ethernet you will need a hub or switch.

That is weird, previsouly seen posts that state the opposit saying it confimred by Devialet that it IS supported for both Phantom I and II. I got rid of the drop out issues I had prior to doing it.

I saw those posts too and gave equally bad advice. I was corrected. And it makes sense - negotiating a direct network connection would require extra hardware and programming.

Also keeping in mind the lower the latency the better... SPDIF direct is the best, then LAN Ethernet , then wifi, BT... Has anyone done that? |
