Nice looking setup. Are you using analogue out of Vivaldi?

Think the OdA might be a bit of a hard sell now....

Thanks!

We've been testing a few ways. I believe in that picture it is using the analogue out of the Vivaldi, yes.

The OdA is so beautiful we expect to sell ours. Who doesn't want a limited edition numbered piece!

We have just hooked up our demonstration 1000 Pro. Running it in with dCS Vivaldi and Wilson Audio Alexia!

Will keep you posted on how it sounds :-)

We also still have the Original d'Atelier (which has now been upgraded to 1000w) in stock if anyone is looking for a limited edition piece!

Very nice set-up and demo room KJ. Are you having a shoot-out with the 1000Pro vs the Naim wardrobe and the DCS multipack stack? Would be a good test of the 1000s dac and amplification credentials - it shouldn't win but if it does then whoops! Nice to see you using Artesina supports - pity about the crack on the left hand one - did Pedro install it ?  Big Grin

Nice idea! I am sure we will give that a go soon.

Too right! As I said to Guillaume, I'd much rather have an Od'A than a common as muck 1000 Pro!

I'll custom sign my 200 and even add bespoke artwork to the case/remote if anyone fancies paying 25 grand for it.

I will be having a lovely demo of the 1000 Pro tomorrow.  Shy   The only thing that really interests me is how does it sound, specifically how much of an improvement is it over the D800.  This will be a 1000 Pro / D800 back to back test with the KEF Blade.

However, if there is anything else anyone wants me to look out for, let me know!

Hope this doesn't sound silly, but would it be possible to try a couple of different Power Cables with them, i.e. does the 1000 Pro sound better with cheaper cables than the D800 (don't they say something about the new 1000Pro having better isolation for power supply).

Off course a better cable should sound better, but very interested to see if the difference between cheaper and dearer cable is less of an upgrade than it is for a D800  Big Grin

PS Hard enough to find info on a review for a 1000Pro, now will have a comparison between D800 & 1000Pro - Fantastic!!!!

Lucky man!

Requests? mmm...

How about -  Phono stage noise/sensitivity; top end under strain e.g. with a bright recording; clarity at low level; bass grip/slam; 'magic' e.g. can it make Diana Krall a good singer?  Wink  Blades should be good to test all that as they go pretty deep and image really well (only heard them at a show).

Enjoy

This one could be tricky ....   Demo will be with an Aurender N10 and I do not have any Diana Krall on vinyl.  Sad  I might be wrong, but I suspect the D800 and 1000 Pro have the same phono stage?  It does occur to me it might be interesting to get a config card set for a low output MC, and do a 'hiss test'.  I wonder if this is improved on the later models?
