Hi all,
The Devialet Gemini app wont connect my earbuds.
The earbuds connect to the phone without any problems, I can listen to music, youtube etc. but the app cannot add the earbuds.
It's working fine on a spare Samsung that I have which leads me to think that my brand new Onepls 12 has some issues.
I've reset the bluetooth setting in my phone, I've emptied the bluetooth cache. I've reset the earbuds.
I'm at a loss, I cannot control the ANC without adding them to the app 🙁
See attachment for where I'm stuck.
Please help me!
Just a bit of clarity, I am not a Gemini owner but this is a Devialet issue! Google releases the alpha/beta versions of the next versions months before the official releases hits to the customers and they generally warn the app developers about breaking changes. Basically Devialet didn't identify/check or cared this problem until it hits to the end users...

Yes, I feel exactly the same.
I really do not like the trend that devices can only be fully used with an app, it is just a matter of time until either the app is broken by a platform update and can't be used until it is fixed/updated, or app development/support simply stops and the device is orphaned.
If devices had an 'open' specification to allow creating a non-manufacturer app, it would at least allow extended life - I have an expensive film scanner, Nikon stopped support long ago, but the interface was open enough that non-Nikon software still supports it perfectly, actually it is better than Nikon's!
It's impossible for me to update Windows past 23H2, as their Devialet AIR software isn't supported anymore.
Same for the remote app. Not supported by Android.
I bet these Gemini's will suffer the same fate.
They only care for their newer products.
Devialet Expert 200 (FW 7.1.3) / Magnepan 1.7i / Rel T5 / Foobar (WASAPI push 24bit) / AIR 3.0.1 public beta (best Air 3.x.x SQ by far) on Win10 23H2
The Devialet Gemini Android app is now updated v1.3 (3003), and finally they have fixed the problem with Android 15 compatibility!
Just opened the app by chance, and it immediately connected to the earbuds (Gemini II).
I'm actually on Android 16 now, the changes listed for the app are...
This release includes the following improvements (compared to Devialet Gemini App 1.2.3 2301):
— Fixed a connection issue with Android 15 devices.
— Other minor improvements.
