Just curious why the program was abruptly stopped
There has been no new speakers it’s been 3 years now
Is there any plan to revive it or have own speakers have a profile on Sam ???

Good question.
I had asked for a SAM measurement of my Duevel Jupiter month ago (and last year), they told me to ask again in a few month. I still have the idea to do so. I would pay for a SAM measurement of my speakers.
Maybe it is an issue that my speakers are old and discontinued, but I fear SAM has stopped or they don‘t have the right people to do it or it is too expensive for them.

It's Devialet: they don't end stuff officially.
They just don't bother anymore at some point.
Devialet Expert 200 (FW 7.1.3) / Magnepan 1.7i / Rel T5 / Foobar (WASAPI push 24bit) / AIR 3.0.1 public beta (best Air 3.x.x SQ by far) on Win11 23H2 (AIR is not running on newer updates)

I had renewed my request.
They are happy that I am interested in the SAM technology and handed my request over to the SAM-Team.
I suggest everyone who is interested to SAMify some speakers should contact Devialet directly. I hope when there is enough demand they will react.

I asked for the jbl 4349 and 4367 and was told the same
I just bought a 4365 and be done with it
Unfortunately I sold my 120
Now on the prowl for another unit
Have a choice of 200 or 220 pro with infinity core
Interested in the noticeable difference between the 2 if someone can shed some light
I understand you can stream directly Spotify ( not sure tidal )
But my main deal breaker is verifiable sound quality improvement
Thanks

I asked them about my speakers many months ago, got nearly the same answer like you, about two weeks ago i asked for the actual situation, if they work on an update, and if they can maybe tell a timeline. Haven´t got any reply till now!

I have now received an answer, unfortunately it is very poor, I expect more from a so-called support, I quote:
"Unfortunately, I have to inform you that I do not have any precise information on this topic, as this is only available to the development teams.
We will inform you via our usual information channels such as the app, the Devialet website or our newsletter as soon as there is any news."
So we'll just have to wait until one day.
I'm really very happy with the Expert sound quality, but if I had found out more details before I bought it, especially that the firmware is now five years old and nobody else at Devialet seems to be interested in it, then I would probably have opted for the Hegel or the Lyngdorf after all. But that's the way it is now, let's wait and see, we can't change it anyway.

The only upside to a devialet is its features like Sam and the configuration
It’s no better sounding / worse sounding than any of the others . For me it’s the fact that you don’t have to faff with dsp the bass and its looks and the numerous speakers profile ( unique to devialet ) even today
Shame !
