Yes, i have the same news from Devialet.
According them, the Expert series is now roon ready, you just need to update the new software.
What´s this means?

If you load v13.1, you should see a new audio output for the Devialet in Roon.
This will be the connection via RAAT. So the Devialet is now a recognised Roon endpoint and Roon no longer needs to talk to the Devialet via the Air protocol (which is a proprietary Devialet invention).

I just received a similar message by e-mail.

Anyone tried the new firmware yet?

At the risk of cross-posting on two threads, yes.

It works.

What is strange is the fact that if one goes into Roon and checks Settings-> Audio it shows the Networked roon ready Devialet with a marking of “Uncertified” in Red.

At least in the Devialet circular window, we are treated to the Roon logo with Roon Ready (RAAT) is enabled as an input.

Indeed, pretty cool.

And if you set the configurator so that the Devialet launches with the last used source it will start up in Roon mode, which is great.

Cheers,
