Nice! Maybe they're taking a few tips from Devialet....

Hearing had stopped producing the N1s and will have a new range soon. I wonder if any of you had also heard the news/rumours?

Was this what James said or did you hear from other sources? Thinking of modifying the P/S to an LPS.

Good spot! The N1A doesn't look massively different. Looks like new power supply, improved disk vibration (this is good as I've had a bit of a problem with disk hum and had to modify mine a tiny bit by just sitting the disks on top of the rubber grommets, making the disks sit a bit higher from the bottom of the case), and select just one disk which make it more flexible.  Doesn't look like large amounts of increase in computing power though which would have be nice - e.g. for upsampling or transcoding.
Same case too so upgradeable?

[edit] - why didn't they just call it N2?

From Google Translate:
-----
"DELA N1A" which became synonymous with file transport became a new model "N1A / 2" as a new model.
N1Z Yuzuri's Melco Clear Dynamic Power Supply System is newly installed.
In addition to adopting even lower vibration products for disk drives, it is also possible to select one drive model pursuing transport performance.
In addition to the network player dedicated port, it also has a robust and stable dedicated USB - DAC connection port.

CD sound source as well as studio master quality high resolution sound source.
N1A is a digital music library that enriches your listening environment.

Something else though. A dedicated and additional USB port for connection to a DAC with a Neutrik USB connector.

They also mention that the power supply has larger capacitors/storage but it does not appear to be as elaborate as that N1ZH (and understandably so).

Think some are looking for it to be compatible with ROON. No mention of a change in processor which might allow this.
