Macbook Sleep Kills Spark
#1
I asked this question before and got good suggestions to try, but after trying them, I am now wondering if it is Macbook specific. My issue that even when using Caffeine or AniSleep, whenever I close the lid on my Macbook when running Spark, It will play two songs then quit. Doesn't matter what settings I use for either app.

Any others having this problem and figured out a way to solve it?

Thanks in advance,

Ken

Hello, alternatively, there is also external software that allows you to disable the hibernation when the MacBook is closed. However, these tools are not supported by Apple. The stand-by mode in the pop-up state has been specially designed to prevent damage from overheating, such as when the MacBook is transported longer in a bag.
A well-known tool to shut down the MacBook without sleep is typically called "NoSleep".
Alternatively, you can also use InsomniaX.
It is worth a try!

Makes sense about the overheating in a bag or sleave. I will take a look at your other suggestions. Thanks much. I the meantime I am getting used to using my phone which seems to work fine, but without all the controls of the desktop app.
