Microphone Audio Quality

Bought a pair of Gemini 2’s for my wife which she uses on her Samsung phone. first few days where great but suddenly the quality of the microphone audio has dropped such that everyone she talks to says she sounds like she is underwater and muffled.
Anyone have any suggestions as cant find any setting to adjust for microphone.
