New Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 Speakers Not Compatible with ARCH
#1
From the accessories compatibility specs on their website. I think this is a big problem. Any idea if the ARCH is getting a new version?

I don't have the answer to your question, but I am curious:  how are you currently using the Arch with your existing Phantoms?  I thought it was made redundant with the implementation of DOS2.

I use ARCH for my home theater setup. I am currently considering getting two more ARCH for multi-channel surround (I have set the delay to "very low" and it works very well - at least with one ARCH). I might have to reconsider....

the arch and dialog both work quite well with DOS 2 the Phantom I s  -you feed them with SPDIF (Coax) for the Arch or Optical for the archaic Dialog and it sends it out over the network to the speaker system(s). it shows up just like another Source to choose.   - no they don't yet or perhaps ever work with DOS v3. (ultimate f job ever) but do admit the arch and dialog do HOBBLE the system - and bet they cant wait for those to die.... its like having a Nitro burning dragster (96/24 engine) but your fuel pump is connected via a soda straw. (48/16)  that said 44/16 is enough bits to overwhelm the human ear when used properly. they do need a new version of the arch... IMO.
