Roon seems to be available (called Source R) but I’m not a user so can’t say. Airplay (currently called Source A) seems to sound better in Tidal so I would expect AirPlay 2 but I don’t know if there’s a clear way to tell if it’s Airplay 2 or not. Otherwise I can’t see any other changes. A night mode was mentioned above but I can’t find it anywhere.


I only see night mode on iPad under scrolling volume same logotype as in spark. I don’t get it where they hide it on iPhone app.. ?

The crescent moon under the volume “knob” in the iOS app toggles night mode. There is also a switch at the bottom of the settings screen you can reach by tapping the “sliders” icon at the top right of the screen.

Roon finally got certified and when I switched to it I got Alien symbol on new remote. Any clue what does it mean?

I took mine to the phantom, the arrow started to blink, I kept it over the phantom, then it blinked for a while, after the pairing symbols showed up and it got back to work normally. A nice feature after the update is that I can airplay to the phantoms and other airplay 2 speakers like the homepods and play/pause, skip, etc on all speakers at the same time using the remote 2. However the volume will affect only the phantoms as expected.
