Hearing noise with every DoP file track change. System > Devialet 120 > Melco HA-N1A > router > Lumin control app. The Devialet has update 8 which enables DoP. I switched back to all PCM playback, but with forty-something percent of my library composed of dsf files, would like to use Devialet DoP feature. I have no other amplifier besides my Devialet to test with the Melco, but thinking track change noise is Devialet and not Melco issue. I stopped using AIR months ago because of unexplained noises. Suggestions?

I have a Auralic Aries and have the same problem with noise between DSD files. I use DoP on the aes/ebu input.

Yes, clicking noise when I change track, only with DoP.

Sounds like Devialet may have a bit of work to do. I play many DSF files (most ripped from SACDs) and don't have this problem.

I noticed this also. It's very faint but there is a clicking sound in the first second or two of each track. I'm using Volume on a Raspberry Pi 2 to feed the USB input.

Sorry for the off topic question, but how do you rip SACDs into DSF? Perhaps this is not a Devialet issue so much as Melco enabling gapless playback? Would this not eliminate the noise between DoP tracks by removing the space between tracks? From what I've been told, Melco app is in early beta stage. Will Melco app supplant Lumin app for me? Unlikely unless it has features specific for N1A/N1Z control.
