Petition for Devialet

Hi All, I am in Darwin Australia and operate an Expert Pro 1000 driving Paradigm Persona 7Fs in a bi amp configuration.  The sound quality is brilliant  and I really love the Expert Pro which serves as HT for TV using bypass from the AVR, a Thorens TD 124DD TT, Oppo Universal Player (via RCA for SACD) and digital for CD, Roon via a Nucleus+ and reclocker andSonos (for fun but not used), all with 2 Expert remotes. I also have a Phantom in our main bedroom.

I’ve had the setup for a few years and it had worked flawlessly. Devialet have always been responsive to any technical requests.

I am about to upgrade by rear speakers to Paradigm Persona Bs and want to boost the power from my AVR. I was thinking of inserting a Musical Fidelity 550K Supercharger in line for each rear speakers (as I do for my centre channel). However, is a third Expert Pro an option, to drive both rear speakers?

I fully support the petition.  Devialet did a great job with these amplifiers and it would be a shame to not see them maintained or developed. At this early stage the new amp doesn’t appear to be a real step forward. No doubt Devialet has genuine reasons for its chosen path and I would be very grateful to hear those reasons.

Welcome to DC and happy Christmas.
I’ve had my 440 Expert Pro setup for seven years now and love it. I’ve never been plagued with problems like some less fortunate. 
It would be a real shame if they couldn’t/wouldn’t fix them if they broke.
