Phantom 95, stops making sound when hot ?
#1
Hi everyone,

first of all, english is not my native language, therefore I apologize in advance for misusing words...

I purchased 2 Pantom and they worked just fine.

But since a few weeks, one of them stops functionning after a moment. At first I thought it was disconnecting, but it is not so : I use it as a master for the second one, and it transmits the sound fine to the slave one.

The stop generally occured after 5 to 15mn of use.

I then noticed the Phantom was warm, even if unused.
I then suspected a problem with the heating, inducing a procedure of self-security ?

In order to verify it, I unplugged the Phantom for a while (1 day or so) and then replugged it only for use. No more shut down !

Therefore, i strongly suspect a "passive" heating (due to ?) and need advice, if any of you ever faced this problem ?

Thnaks in advance !

Best regards

Do you know what firmware versions they are running?
Are these 2 Phantom II? And not a stereo pair, right?

Hi,

they have the latest firmware update available.

Devialet also asked me this question, but they were already updated, and it doesnt change a thing.

And yes, these are 2 Phantom II, paired together.
