Hi!
I would like to ask about the specifications of the Phantom Gold 1 speaker.
What does the maximum power of 1100 W RMS mean? what is the maximum power compsumption in watts? on the website there is 4500 watts of maximum power.
I believe that no power source in any random house can handle such high power (4500 W ?) - that's why I ask this.
and this... 600 W vs 295 W https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48gXYRrlD3I&t=33s

). It is like a inflated tyre. At high pressure it is difficult to squeeze and requires a lot of power to do so. The same with the Phantom bass drivers. To have them move with 1 to 2 cm excursion needs a lot of power. The 4500W peak they can deliver very short time due to the capacitors that store energy to be made available very fast and for short amounts, e.g. a bass drum kick. Under normal room listening conditions (SPL around 85-90 dB) only a fraction of this power is needed. The drivers barely move and the power consumption will be less than 100W for a pair of Phantoms.
