Problems with Core Infinity
(12-Dec-2017, 12:20)Dannythered Wrote: Just received my two D220Pro back from Devialet, had one working since Saturday and decided to install the other today, both on the same network but different ip addresses listed in Roon, the problem is when one is playing if I try to start play on the other one I get ‘device in use’. I can only clear this by pulling the plug and exiting Roon however whichever device I try to start up second then has the same issue ‘device in use’. Has anyone else had this issue and or resolved it?

Do you have DHCP enabled? I had a similar problem but I got it resolved by disabling the DHCP and defining a fixed IP to the Devialet.

Roon core is on a Mac mini, where do I enable DHCP? And how and where do I define a fixed IP to the Devialet?
Just checked and network settings says using DHCP

You can disable the DHCP and give a fixed IP address to the Devialet in the Configurator. I haven't got this 'device in use' error after doing this change.

Just a follow up: UPnP is now working was just a question of using a different control point software, in my case Jriver Media centre works perfectly. One small firmware bug: (UPnP input display lettering remains red and does not change its colour to white when operational). I am not going to be using USB for now till the issue of pops and clicks is resolved by Devialet. Forgetting for a movement the pops and clicks, the sound quality via USB is better than the Melco LAN connection. Moving on, the Phono input is working perfectly and sounds exceptional.

No joy, still same issue, strangely the new IP addresses I set up didn't show up in Roon, just the original ones, did I do something wrong? Also tidal disappeared as did my Roon account, couldn't connect to either

It sounds like you are having some problems on the network/configuration. I would suggest double checking that you have configured a valid IP address for your Devialet.

I have the new IP address shown correctly on Roon. Also Tidal works fine with Roon.
