The iPhone App will probably have the biggest impact in our house, so am excited it came early (so to speak ). From a single dedicated iPad, to three devices, will be much more convenient. Makes the idea of multi room seem a bit more appealing (not that I've got the rest of the kit yet). It's a bit small on the 5S but I'll probably mainly use it for start/stop convenience and the odd track change.
Radio is disappointing but I'd already decided that beforehand. It's great they added it in as a first pass, but I'll stick with TuneIn / Chromecast for the time being.
But all round it's a great update, albeit a lot behind the scenes. It's faster, tidier, more convenient and lays the groundwork for the whole thing to grow. I'm guessing by the delays that RAAT and Linux was biting off more than they thought initially, but they came through in the end.
Now I can start longing for 1.3 or maybe 1.2.2 and some room correction and Qobuz love. At least I can play with the iPhone remote and the Pi in the meantime.
