The guy told me the documentation will be available soon and the functionality is to manage the volume and playback (pause next,...)
About the screen, he told me the e-paper version have been cancelled...

See Flo's response from Deviate, above.

So which is it?

Which confirms what Yannick reported in the "Branch" thread, when he received his.

I was referring to post 6 of this thread (page 1) where flo posted the response from Deviate to his query.
Clearly the person answering from Deviate online assistance doesn't know what product their company has actually produced and is shipping to customers !!!!!!

It's all a bit of a shambles.

Hi,
Could there be a misunderstanding between the physical remote and the iTunes app phantom remote?
I am on android, for which the app has yet to be released. Could someone with an iPhone check this matter?
Tel.
Qobuz/Sonos/D200/GT1 SE (offered to my father, who enjoys it every day)
2 Phantom Reactor 600 and Spotify Premium

*LOL May be some features for further updates? With v. 1.3 we'll get a "next" button, with 1.4 "previous" and by 2.0 "pause", so we have a truly evolutive remote which becomes even better all the time LOL*
(Same with Spark and HomeCinema or Upnp etc...)
Frankly, I don't understand what's so complicated to improve this for a company who created a juwel like phantom with tons of patents. Hope Devialet went to west coast not only to sell Ph. to Beyoncé: hire some Software specialists from Silicon Valley would habe been a great idea.
I was really waiting for remote to be able to quickly turn down or stop my music when tel. rings or someone coming. By now, I mainly use an iPad-mini or my android-phone to control my phantoms. Volume control from device only works when Spark is active. As my phone goes stand-by after 1mn to save power (iPad does the same), prompt control becomes impossible: Spark has to "wake up" to catch up with Dialog, there are seemingly endless seconds (may be 10) until you can regain control over your beasty phantoms. Remote would have been a great relief.
Well, I'll have to wait for updates Confused

Vince, I've changed the automatic sleep on my tablet to 30 minutes so I don't get that problem. Yes battery life is worse, but it still lasts all day and I plug it in to charge when I go to bed then.
