TOSLink bypass SAM?

I like that I can bypass the 96khz->48khz downsampling when using TOSlink, which is why I was interested in using this method over WiFi.

If I remember correct, you cannot bypass the downsampling, regardless input. The internals uses a 48kHz sample rate.
