@ Pim

The 200 must go into the bathroom ofc!
I promised I will keep my 200 for at least 5 years, but still feel fecked over by Devialet just like you.
They just seem to have a patent on that as well.

I don't feel Devialet has done anything wrong by me. It's my choice to upgrade and it's their job to innovate. We shouldn't be upset for Devialet making better products when they can. If you think about it, the 170 that became a 200 was a real bargain if you compare it to the D Premier. So no complaints about Devialet. More about the bank. Their idea of a fair exchange rate (7-8% more than the official rate) is where I got screwed.

Anyway, still very exited about coming home to the O d'A if it arrives on time. So it's all good

I bet, no one really would accuse Devialet making better products and offering upgrades. As long as they would do their homeworks and do not leave users alone with problems since years without any adequate communication at all.

Quote:Until august 31st you can reduce the price of the expert 800 to £15280 by trading in any existing piece of hifi. If you go on to upgrade this during 2016 to the Expert 1000 pro, the upgrade will cost you £3990.

This effectively means that you have purchased your expert 1000 pro for £19270, an approximate saving of 15%(£3627) on the full RRP of £22900

3990£ is this confirmed or just something they guess? This would be around 4700€ for upgrading a 800 to a 1000 PRO.

It does not make sense to me to pay same upgrade cost as the retail prices are not the same. On top, the upgrade cost is also very high. It is 50% of retail le200.

I was also told that the price Will be 9000eur for the 200evo. So it makes sence to uppgrade if the Cost Will be 3500eur

Agree. Normaly I am not one to get angry easilly, but this seems outright unfair.

I've just paid for the O d'A I'm buying of Gentleman and, because I got screwed by the bank on the exchange rate, I could possibly have had a better deal by going the 800 to 1000 route. On top of that, my 200 will be worth pennies on the second hand market. I must be a positive thinker though; I'm just happy to get the nice copper look and I can now convince my wife it's not worth selling the 200 so we might as well keep it for the bedroom  Smile

Congratulations on your purchase!
